Cotillion

Do you want to see your child develop better poise, self-awareness, and confidence in a social situation? We offer the perfect opportunity for your child to learn a mix of etiquette and dance instructions.  We offer 10-week classes which students will learn the Foxtrot, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Tango, and Swing.  Students will learn how to properly introduce themselves, accepting a dance invitation, and polite conversation. Parents are welcome to join in on the last class to dance with the students.

The grand finale will be a fun formal ball. This is where everyone will be in formal wear and dance and present to the class.  A wonderful experience which they will have for the rest of their lives.  

DRESS CODE: Ladies are expected to wear age-appropriate dresses or skirts and blouses to class.  Gentlemen are expected to wear slacks, a shirt, and tie. Proper ballroom shoes are expected on the floor. 

FORMAL BALL DRESS CODE: Ladies are expected to wear knee-length or longer dresses and dance shoes. Gentlemen are expected to wear a dark suit or tuxedo and black tie and dance shoes. 

Classes are open for 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  The cost is $150 per student.

Homeschooling

Parents, are you looking for a safe place where your child can learn some Ballroom and Latin dance while learning some etiquette? We offer 10-week classes, one hour each week where they will learn a variety of dances which include the Foxtrot, Merengue, Hustle, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, and Swing. Students learn how to interact with one another with poise and social graces while having fun learning to dance.  This is a class that will last a lifetime for them.

Our instructor, Susie Buck, is a highly qualified dance instructor.  Susie has a Fellow in

Ballroom, and Licentiate in Latin, Smooth and Rhythm. She is an Adjudicator and Coach and competed professionally in the International Style. Susie also carries a Master’s Degree in Special Education (certified K-12) and Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (certified K-6). She has taught in the public schools and also tutors students.  So, your student is in excellent hands with Susie Buck.
